Cable wire mesh is constructed from multi-strand stainless steel cable — rather than single wire — assembled into mesh panels using either ferruled (crimped fitting) or knotted connection methods at each cable intersection. The result is a premium, structural mesh with a distinctive industrial-elegant aesthetic. Cable mesh panels are stronger, heavier, and have a more architectural presence than woven wire mesh, making them suitable for demanding facade, balustrade, and barrier applications. Available in two construction types: Ferruled and Knotted.
Construction Types
Two construction methods — each creating a distinctly different visual and structural character. Hover over an image for details.
Cable intersections are secured with precision-crimped metal ferrules — small cylindrical fittings that are mechanically clamped onto the cable at each crossing point. The ferrule provides a clean, industrial aesthetic with precise spacing and strong structural integrity. The result is a grid-like pattern of cable and fittings.

Cable intersections are formed by looping and knotting the cables together — a traditional rope-making technique adapted for architectural metal. The knotted construction creates a softer, more organic intersection node compared to the precision ferrule, giving the mesh a slightly more tactile, handcrafted character while retaining structural strength.
